Register
for a National Testing Day (NTD) Complete
the Official
Registration Form , mail or fax it to USWFA National Headquarters with your
program fee. The registration deadline is three (3) weeks before the National
Testing Day. Course
Materials are sent by Priority Mail upon receipt of the USWFA receiving
both the completed application and course fee. Following are the materials
sent: - National
Water Fitness Instructors Manual (22nd Edition)

Pre-Course
Written Materials
Note:
If you are taking the Masters Course, you will also receive the Water
Fitness Managers Manual and Open Book Test. - Follow
instructions and complete the written Pre-Course Materials as instructed. The National
Testing Day (NTD) is a 6-hour course and must be taken in its
entirety on the designated day.
- Your
completed pre-course materials is your admission ticket to the NTD. A USWFA National
Instructor Trainer (IT) facilitates the course.
- Two
(2) of the most important parts of the NTD are the written and water test.
The written test is in 2 parts. You will have one hour to complete the written
test; (30 minutes each for Part 1 and Part 2). If you read and study your
manual, you should not have any problem with the written test. The water
test is eight (8) minutes for the primary course and fifteen (15) minutes for
the masters course. The class participants for the water test are the other
class students. The instructor will tell you your scores for the written
and water test at the end of the class.
- Smoking
is prohibited in the classroom and pool area.
After
the NTD Course: - All
materials are sent to USWFA National Headquarters by the instructor trainer (IT)
for final grading. Once we receive the materials, they are reviewed and graded. To
successfully complete the course the following is required:
- Successfully
complete the written course materials.
- Have
a copy of your CPR card on file at USWFA National Headquarters. (This should
be a part of your pre-course materials)
- Pass
the written and water test.
- Attend
all of the NTD.
Your
Certification Card and Certificate are mailed to you if you have successfully
completed all of the requirements listed above. You should receive your
certificate approximately three weeks after your NTD. Official
